A French Cardinal’s Hat Broad Rim Plate with the
clear touchmark of the maker L.L. and quality mark struck on the
back of the rim. Probably Leon Laliman of Bordeaux circa 1674.The
front rim struck with ownership initials MDV. The back of the plate
hammered all over. Diameter 14 15/16ths.(383mm) The rim 3” diameter
(78mm) = 40.73%
