An Exceptional William III Portrait Spoon in mint condition.
The tryfid handle with a fine portrait of William III.A crown above
the bust and cast decoration down the stem. The back of the bowl with
fine lace work decoration. The back of the stem has the unrecorded hallmarks
of the maker I.S (or S.I.)
The spoon has an even covering of natures gilding.
Length 7” Circa 1695 .Queen Mary died in December 1694.This
spoon was no doubt made to celebrate William III’s solo ruling
